After graduating from Yale University New Haven Connecticut in 1980 with an undergraduate degree of African American Studies, she continued to pursue an MA (1983) from the Yale School of Drama. Courtney B. Vance met her at Yale, and in 1997 they got married. Qualification: B.A. degree in African-American studies in the year 1980. Graduate of Fine Arts from Yale School of Drama School. Jordan Park Elementary School Disston Middle School (7th grade), Azalea Middle School (8th and 9th grades), Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett is currently working in one of the lead characters as Ramonda in the action adventure film i.e. Black Panther: Wakanda forever (2022).
